Valentine’s Day is a great occasion for showing your loved one how much they mean to you, but that does not mean you have to break the bank to do it. Check out these affordable events around New York to make your date feel special without maxing out your credit card. 

Vow Renewals in Times Square

Wish you could marry your significant other all over again? Join the Vow Renewal Ceremony in Times Square at 6 p.m. on Valentine’s Day for another chance to profess your love for your partner on the iconic glass Red Steps. The ceremony is preceded by a performance from Broadway’s Tony Award-winning Best Musical Dear Evan Hansen. Register for the renewal at timessquarenyc.org

Paint Night

The Jackie Robinson Recreation Center invites you to spend an evening creating a work of art as an instructor guides you through the process. Come with a date, or come alone, either way, you get to spend Valentine’s making something beautiful. The instructor begins at 7 p.m. 85 Bradhurst Ave., Manhattan.

Valentine’s Day Stroll

“Single Awareness” Pub Crawl

Valentine’s Day Gay Mixer

Rosé Wine Mansion

The Instagram famous Rosé Wine Mansion amusement park, 111 West 32nd St., is throwing a Valentine’s Day Soirée from 3-9 p.m. as a part of their Pink Weekend for their regular admission price of $35. Tickets are available at rosewinemansion.com

The Photograph

Take your date to one of the many iconic movie theaters around New York City to catch this romance featuring Issa Rae and Lakeith Stanfield. Two tickets for the AMC 19th St. and East 6 are $34 before taxes and fees.
