Created by Chris Barrett, known online as the Pizza Pusha, Stoned Pizza is a one-of-a-kind experience in New York City. Guests take on a unique dining experience, trying classic pizza shop offerings that are infused with THC.
“I knew this was gonna be a home run from the moment I thought about it. I’m an Italian kid from Brooklyn, I know pizza. I’m a big weed-head. I knew early, early that this was gonna work,” said Barrett.
Prior to opening the restaurant, Barrett says the business was purely delivery. Barrett used to just offer pizza, garlic knots, soda, cookies and brownies, but with the opening of Stone Lounge, Barrett wanted to expand the menu.
For $120 a person, Stoned Pizza provides an unlimited all-you-can-eat and drink five-course tasting meal that is infused with cannabis every step of the way. The meal starts with a salad, followed by “ganja” knots, pizza, chicken wings, and finishing off with gelato.
“It’s not so heavy, you’re not gonna eat one thing and be f—ed up. We want them to eat a whole meal,” said Barrett.
There is an open bar of soda and juice to help keep you hydrated along the way. There are also edibles, concentrates, and flowers available for purchase, or you can bring your own.
“I just built what I would want to come to as a weed smoker,” said Barrett.
