A 62-year-old man was found dead in front of a Brooklyn home early Monday morning in an incident police have deemed a homicide.

According to authorities, a 911 call came in about the crime at about 6:50 a.m. on Sept. 7 in Bay Ridge. Upon arrival, police discovered the man — whose identity has not yet been released — in front of 653 74th St. with gunshot wounds to the head and shoulders.

The victim, who cops say lived nearby, was taken to NYU Langone-Brooklyn, where he was pronounced dead.

There are no arrests at this time and the investigation remains ongoing.

This is the first shooting incident but second homicide this year in the 68th Precinct, which patrols Bay Ridge and Dyker Heights, according to NYPD data.

On April 15, 57-year-old Imad Ahmad was found dead in his Dyker Heights home, the crime scene so horrific that police initially suspected the man’s 26-year-old son had eaten his father’s dead body.
