Magnum ice cream and dipping bar pop-up to open in SoHo

This is the best thing to ever happen to New York. Well, close.

Magnum is bringing its premium dipping bar to SoHo this spring.

The pop-up creates an ice cream experience totally unlike any other in New York, which says a lot in a city that’s home to rolled ice cream, egg waffle ice cream and even Peking duck-flavored scoops. Magnum lands in a few lucky cities each season; last year, the custom creations came to Milan and London.

Magnum’s dipping bar has guests design their own custom ice cream bars. Starting with a vanilla bean or chocolate ice cream base, you can choose a dark, milk or white Belgian chocolate dip and then a selection of three custom toppings from an array of more than 20 premium ingredients, including Himalayan sea salt, rose petals, goji berries and more.

Start lining up now: Picky eaters and experimentalists will be equally tempted to stand outside ala The Life of Pablo pop-up for this unique (and tasty!) experience. And by experience, we mean Instagram post.

The Magnum dipping bar opens at 134 Prince St. on Saturday, April 23, and it will be open daily from 12-9 p.m. through Sunday, August 7.

London, Paris, Berlin and Madrid will also have Magnum pop-ups this season, but you know New York’s will be the best. Oh, and have the longest lines.
