The fried chicken sandwich is the thing these days. You’ve likely had a dozen ChickenShack’s and Fuku’s by now, right?
Even if you haven’t, you need this new creation by Uncle Sam’s. This burger, bowl and sandwich shop located right next door to Koreatown is a Chinese import, and it’s quickly expanding in the city. The first location opened in May 2015, and a second location in Chelsea is set to open this May.
Uncle Sam’s has been expanding its menu quietly. A weekly pot sticker offering just launched (this week they’re making corned beef and cabbage), and the new item we got a first look at is sure to be the next big thing in NYC.
The Which Came First? chicken ‘samwich’ is quite a thing. Take a look.
