New York City’s biggest party, The Governors Ball, AKA Govball, is returning to Flushing Meadows Corona Park this weekend!

From June 6-8, the park will transform into a bustling festival ground, with multiple stages, activations and food options to explore. Here’s what you need to know before you head to the festival!

Where is Govball and how do I get in?

Like we mentioned before, Govball is at Flushing Meadows Corona Park. The main entrance is found between the Unisphere and Astronaut Court, and the gates open at 11:45 a.m. each festival day.

How do I get there?

Those coming by public transportation can take the 7 train or the LIRR to Mets-Willets Point Station, which will put you within walking distance of the festival grounds.

If you plan on taking a rideshare, it is recommended that you set your destination for “Gov Ball” or “NY Hall of Science” for drop-off and pick-up after the show.

For those who are driving, there is no parking available at Flushing Meadows Corona Park. If you’re taking your bike, there will be bike parking available at main entrance, but remember to bring your own lock!

Who is headlining?

Three days of music means three days of headliners! On June 6, the show will be headlined by Benson Boone and Tyler, The Creator. The June 7 show will be headlined by Olivia Rodrigo and Feid. June 8 will be headlined by Hozier and Glass Animals.

Other notable shows include Young Miko, Tyla, Raye, Mk. Gee, Clairo, Japanese House, Conan Gray, Artemas, Mariah the Scientist, Mt. Joy, and the Backseat Lovers.

Are there still tickets available?

Yes! There are still one-day (starting at $179), two-day (starting at $355) and three-day ticket (starting at $359) options, but they are selling out quickly. So you might want to jump on them if you want to go! Tickets are available at www.governorsballmusicfestival.com.

Who can go to Govball?

Govball is for all ages! There are some activations that have age restrictions, but overall, you’ll find people of all ages at Govball. Children aged eight and under can attend the festival for free when accompanied by a paid-ticketed adult.

What can I bring?

Here’s what you can bring on-site: baby strollers, frisbees, binoculars, blankets, sheets, towels, portable battery packs, sunscreen in non-aerosol containers, and basic point-and-shoot consumer-grade cameras.

Here’s what isn’t allowed: aerosol containers, including sunscreen and personal beauty products; coolers; any professional video equipment and cameras; drones or any other remote-flying devices; hammocks, inflatables, outside food or drinks, glass containers, umbrellas; pets (except service animals); selfie sticks; skateboards, scooters, bicycles; wagons, carts or any personal motorized vehicles; tents, canopies, or shade structures.

Illegal substances, weapons, fireworks, bicycles, spiked jewelry, and chairs are also prohibited. Flushing Meadows Corona Park is smoke-free, so smoking and vaping are banned in all parks.

Ticket holders and their belongings are subject to search upon entry, and everyone is encouraged to leave their large bags at home. Small clutch purses and fanny packs that are 6″ x 9″ or smaller do not need to be clear, but can only have one pocket. Other bags larger than 6″ x 9″ must be smaller than 12″ x 6″ x 12″ and clear.

Anything else?

The festival is 100% cashless, so credit cards, debit cards, and mobile payment methods will be accepted onsite for food and merchandise. Ticket holders will be able to enter and exit once, with no re-entry.
