“Quantico” is headed for New York City.
The hit ABC show is moving its shooting location from Montreal to NYC, according to a press release from the governor’s office.
“New York State knows no creative bounds, and provides an unrivaled opportunity to work with the very best in the industry,” said Governor Cuomo.
According the the release, season 2 will feature 22 one-hour episodes, which will bring in “hundreds of local jobs” and an “estimated $68 million in New York state spending.” Filming should begin in July, according to the release.
“Quantico” stars Priyanka Chopra as an FBI trainee who was falsely accused of planning a terrorist attack.
