Kings Co Imperial, a Brooklyn-based Chinese restaurant is donating food to health care workers and emergency medical personnel combatting the COVID-19 pandemic every week.

Last week, Kings Co Imperial delivered 40 dinners to the ICU staff at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.

“These heroes are going to work every day to ensure the health and safety of our communities,” owner Tracy Jane Young said. “It’s our pledge to provide support for them in any way that we can.”

Kings Co Imperial will send additional weekly meals to hospitals, FDNY EMT/EMS stations and other frontline healthcare and public service agencies across the city.

“We see it as our responsibility to help keep everyone fed, especially during a crisis,” Young said. “We’re lucky enough to still have our kitchens open for delivery and takeout so we’ll continue donating food while we can.”

Kings Co Imperial is still open for take-out and delivery through Caviar, Grubhub/Seamless and Doordash from 4:30-10:30 p.m. by calling 212-475-0244.
