Man dies of injuries after he was shot in broad daylight on a Brooklyn street: NYPD

The NYPD is looking for a shooter who killed a man in Brooklyn on Friday morning.

According to police, at 10:22 a.m. on Feb. 21, the NYPD responded to a 911 call regarding a man shot in front of a residence on Herzel Street near Blake Avenue. Upon their arrival, officers found a 38-year-old man, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to his torso.

EMS rushed the victim to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending family notification.

No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
