Manhattan detectives are busy probing two separate, deadly shootings that occurred within an hour and a half of each other on Wednesday night.
The bloodshed began in Chelsea at about 9:19 p.m. on June 4, where a 21-year-old man was gunned down at the Robert S. Fulton Houses located at 431 West 17th St.
Officers from the 10th Precinct and Police Service Area 4 responded to the location after receiving a 911 call about an assault in progress during a gathering.
When police arrived, they found 21-year-old Raqiese Cohen already unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the neck.
EMS rushed Cohen, who lived at the Fulton Houses, to Bellevue Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Based on a preliminary investigation, police sources reported that Cohen was apparently shot after a heated argument broke out among the gathering of people sitting at picnic tables in the complex courtyard. A description of the shooter was not yet made available.

Law enforcement sources said the second shooting erupted at about 10:45 p.m. on June 4 in front of a 7-Eleven store in Midtown at 345 West 42nd St., steps away from the Port Authority Bus Terminal.
Officers from the Midtown South Precinct, who responded to the location after receiving a report of a person shot, found an unidentified man with a gunshot wound to the forehead. He was later identified as Marco Reyes, 30, of the Bronx.
EMS rushed Reyes to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition; he would ultimately die of his injuries a short time later.
No arrests have been made in either case, and the investigation remains ongoing.
