Armed chain-snatching crook wanted for shooting a man during a Queens robbery

The NYPD is looking for a chain-snatching thief that shot a man during an early-morning robbery in Queens.

According to police, at 3:48 a.m. on Jan. 13, a 27-year-old man was at Capelli’s Cafe, located at 107-11 Northern Blvd., when he was approached by an unknown man. The man proceeded to pull out a gun and shot the victim in the torso.

The crook then took the victim’s gold chain and fled the scene. The victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst by private means in serious but stable condition.
