Ai Weiwei’s landmark show arrives in Brooklyn

The first North American survey of renowned Chinese artist Ai Weiwei opens at the Brooklyn Museum on April 18. It’s billed as the first large-scale exhibit of the artist’s work in New York City and runs through Aug. 10, 2014. The artist is unable to attend the show because his passport has been confiscated by the Chinese government.
