The 11th annual Battery Park City Block Party made quite a splash, attracting upwards of 1,500 people on Sat., Sept. 22 to Esplanade Plaza, near the North Cove Marina. There was dancing, kids’ rides and games, a flea market and a pet parade — among other family festivities. This year, for the first time, the had cooking demonstrations.
