Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer talked to his constituents at Delancey and Essex Sts. from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wed., Sept. 8, in the first of his Lower East Side street-corner mobile district offices. On Wed., Sept. 15, Stringer will talk to constituents at 58 Avenue D outside the tenants association of the Lillian Wald Houses. On Wed., Sept. 22, the B.P.’s mobile office will be at the corner of East Broadway and Rutgers St. And on Wed., Sept. 29, Stringer will bring his mobile office to Avenue A between E. Fourth and Fifth Sts. in front of the Key Food supermarket. “It’s a pilot program focusing on the Lower East Side to hear from constituents about the issues that concern them,” he said. “People have been talking about housing issues and the lack of safety, especially in public housing.”
