Detectives are still searching for the hit-and-run driver who struck an 11-year-old boy riding a scooter in Brooklyn on Monday evening, leaving the youngster critically injured.

According to police sources, the incident occurred around 5:50 p.m. on Oct. 13 on Avenue V at Ocean Parkway in Gravesend.

Law enforcement sources said a driver behind the wheel of a black 2026 Acura Integra was traveling northbound on the roadway when he collided with the child, who was riding a scooter.

The collision was so severe that debris was sent hurtling through the air, some of which struck a 25-year-old pedestrian.

Despite the impact, police reported, the Acura driver did not stop and instead sped away from the scene.

EMS rushed both victims to Maimonides Medical Center where the 11-year-old is listed in critical condition. The 25-year-old suffered minor injuries to his leg.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
