The upcoming week’s schedule of Community Board 1 committee meetings is below. Unless otherwise noted, all committee meetings are held at the board office located at 49 Chambers St., Room 709.
On Mon., Feb. 28, the Financial District and Seaport/Civic Center committees will meet at 6 p.m. for a presentation by the City and discussion about the East River Waterfront revised restoration plan; a presentation about the combined Governors Island RFP to be issued for interim and long term uses; a report about a proposal for a New Globe Theater of Governors Island.
On Wed., March 2, the Financial District Committee will meet at 6 p.m. to review the following proposed street fairs: April 26, sponsored by D.I.D., Maiden Lane; May 5, sponsored by Romania Day Fair, Broadway; June 17, sponsored by C.B. 1, Wall St.; July 4, sponsored by Pearl St. Park Association, Water St.; July 8, sponsored by C.B. 1, Maiden Lane; Aug. 12, sponsored by C.B. 1, Maiden Lane; Aug. 20, sponsored by Seaport Community Coalition, Water St.; Sept. 30, sponsored by Downtown Visiting Neighbors, Wall St.; Oct. 10, sponsored by Bowling Green Association, Broadway; Oct. 21, sponsored by C.B. 1, Maiden Lane; Nov. 11, sponsored by John Huess House, Broadway.
