The upcoming week’s schedule of Community Board 1 committee meetings is below. Unless otherwise noted, all committee meetings are held at the board office located at 49 Chambers St., Room 709.
On Tues., April 12 the Seaport/Civic Center Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. in Assemblymember Sheldon Silver’s Office at 250 Broadway, Assembly Hearing Room, 19th Floor to discuss and draft a resolution regarding a sidewalk café renewal application for 10 tables with 24 seats at Lemage d/b/a Quartino at 12-23 Peck Slip.
On Tues., April 12 the Seaport/Civic Center, Financial District and W.T.C. Redevelopment Committees will meet at 6 p.m. in Assemblymember Sheldon Silver’s Office at 250 Broadway, Assembly Hearing Room, 19th Floor for a presentation about L.M.D.C. off site studies.
On Wed., April 13, the Executive Committee will meet at 6 p.m. The agenda is to be determined.
On Thurs., April 14, the Financial District, Landmarks and Battery Park City Committees will meet at 6 p.m. for a presentation on the redevelopment of Pier A. Following the Pier A discussion, the Financial District Committee will continue its meeting and listen to a presentation about the Wall Street (4/5 line) rehabilitation; and discuss and draft a resolution about a street activity permit for Thames Street between Broadway and Trinity St. for Big Al’s Pizza from May through September on weekdays.
On Thurs., April 14, the Landmarks Committee will meet at approximately 6:30 p.m. in room 501 (immediately following the joint committee meeting) to discuss and draft a resolution regarding an application to legalize transoms above the door at 85 Leonard St.
