Re “L.M.D.C. drops Menin from panel; community reacts” (news article, May 4)
I read with much interest that Julie Menin was not selected to the LMDC Board for saying “NO.” Good for her. And shame on them. Both Margaret Cooney and Ruth Parter were not selected to the Southbridge Towers Board because they both said “NO.”
The Southbridge Board of 15 persons now consists of 14 yeas and 1 maybe.
Julie, Margaret and Ruth, you stand in very wonderful company. I commend all of you for trying to do the right thing.
