Mon., March 6, 6:30 p.m. , Public School 34, 730 E. 12th St. (between Avenues C and D) Greening a Block — A Public Forum — sponsored by Neighborhood Energy Network and co-Sponsored by Community Board 3: A proposal to use funds received by the community from Con Edison settlement for the expansion of the 14th St. plant. Funds would be used for a pilot program on one block to achieve gains in air quality and energy conservation by installing state-of-the-art, energy-efficiency measures.
