Doing their part in Wash. Sq. Park

Michael Haberman, director of government and community relations for New York University, spruced up a garbage can in Washington Sq. Park last Friday as part of N.Y.U.’s V.I.P. Day. In the annual event, N.Y.U. students, faculty and administrators pitch in to help paint the park’s benches, railings and fences, while local elementary school students plant flowers in the park.
