Donald Trump’s Second Amendment comment spurs criticism

Republican nominee Donald Trump has made yet another controversial statement that has prompted criticism from politicians.

At a rally on Aug. 9, 2016, Trump spoke critically of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s position on gun control, saying she would take guns away from Americans if she is elected and able to choose new Supreme Court judges. But he didn’t stop there.

“If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do folks,” he said. “Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know.”

Trump later said he was trying to rally supporters to vote against Clinton.

Here are some of the reactions to Trump’s remarks.
