The fight for the Republican presidential nomination just got a lot more personal after Donald Trump and Sen. Ted Cruz engaged in a Twitter spat over their wives.
It all started when Trump accused Cruz late Tuesday night of using his wife Melania’s image from a GQ photo shoot in an anti-Trump ad.
Cruz fired back that his campaign wasn’t behind the ad and called Trump a “coward” for trying to bring his wife Heidi into the fray.
