A Queens man was arrested in connection with two stabbings, one in March and another in December 2015, the NYPD said.
Police arrested Franklin Villanueva, 24, inside 13-23 130th St. in College Point, Queens on Monday morning.
Cops received a search warrant for the arrest location and recovered a semi-automatic handgun, two imitation pistols, an imitation rifle, a Taser, a gravity knife, a machete, a box of ammunition, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police said.
Police said the arrest location was not Villanueva’s home, but did not provide any other details.
Villanueva is accused of slashing a man in the neck, chest and upper right arm in front of 169-04 Crocheron Ave. in Queens in December and stabbing another man when he was sitting in his car behind 160-34 Northern Boulevard in Queens in March, the Queens District Attorney’s office said.
He has been charged with attempted murder, assault, criminal possession of a weapon, among other charges, police said.
Villanueva’s attorney did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
