Great weather for this spring’s Taste of Chinatown event drew big crowds April 21 as people sampled dishes for $1 or $2, including about 600 portions of Peking Duck, always the most popular. The Chinatown Partnership, the event’s sponsor, honored immigrant groups that previously lived nearby with Irish step dancing and a Mariachi band, in addition to the lion dancing that has also been at past Tastes. Above, Tiffany Lin and Xin Huang, 9, tried their hand at the crafts booth.
