The last temporary entrance to the World Trade Center PATH station opened on Vesey St. in time for Tuesday morning’s commute, but few people used it, right and bottom. Since the previous entrance on Church St. was still open — and will stay open for another few weeks — most travelers preferred to stick with what they knew, above. The Vesey St. entrance is the third and final temporary entrance to the PATH station before the Santiago Calatrava-designed station opens in 2011. The Church St. entrance will be demolished so work can move forward on Towers 2, 3 and 4.
