At Village Care of New York’s 10th Annual Legends of the Village Awards at the New York University Kimmel Center on Nov. 10, restaurateurs Rocio and Jimmy Sanz, left, received the Village Business Legend Award. The Sanzes own Tio Pepe and Burrito Loco on W. Fourth St. Rocio is a member of Community Board 2 and active in the Greenwich Village-Chelsea Chamber of Commerce. Sheila Rule, of The New York Times, right, is one of the “Legends” featured on V.C.N.Y.’s new 2009 Legends of the Village calendar. A longtime newspaper reporter, first at the St. Louis Post Dispatch, then at the Times, she covered many beats, as well as serving as a foreign correspondent. Rule is currently a Times senior editor.
