Manhattan detectives are questioning a person of interest connected to a deadly stabbing in Harlem on Sunday afternoon.
Officers from the 32nd Precinct responded to a 911 call of a man stabbed at 304 W. 147 St. in Harlem on May 12 at approximately 3:39 p.m. on May 12.
When the cops arrived, they found 47-year-old Alejandro Santos unconscious and unresponsive at his home, covered in blood from multiple stab wounds throughout his body, law enforcement sources said.
EMS responded to the scene, and rushed Santos to NYC Health and Hospitals/ Harlem, where he was pronounced dead.
Police took a person of interest into custody at the scene, but were unable to confirm the person’s connection to the victim.
As of Monday morning, charges against that individual are still pending as the investigation remains ongoing.
