Dead on the tracks

An unidentified homeless man was electrocuted while walking on the subway tracks of the J, M, Z line near the Broad St. station at 11:21 a.m. Thur. Jan. 25, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Armed robber

Police are looking for a man who held up three stores at gunpoint, one of them in Tribeca, last month. The thief, described as a white man in his 40s and about 6 ft. 2 in., held up A Uno, a clothing store at 119 W. Broadway near Duane St. at 6:50 p.m. on Jan. 14 and got away with $200, police said. On Jan. 16 he held up a store on Lexington Ave. at 84th St. and made off with $120 and on Jan. 27 he held up a store on W. 52nd St. between Sixth Ave. and Broadway and stole $70.

Shoplifter

Security guards at Century 21 across from the World Trade Center site stopped a man who ran through a checkout counter with three watches he didn’t pay for on Sunday morning, Jan. 28, police said. The suspect, Lee Richard, 28, punched a guard who stopped him and is charged with assault and larceny, according to police.
