Police search for Harlem shooting suspect

Police are searching for the gunman who shot a man multiple times in Harlem on Saturday night.

According to police sources, the incident occurred outside of a house of worship near West 146th Street and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard just before 10 p.m. on June 17. Officers from the 32nd Precinct rushed to the scene, where they found a 25-year-old with two bullets in his left leg.

EMS whisked the victim to NYC Health & Hospitals/Harlem, where he remains in stable condition.

A description of the suspect has not yet been obtained and detectives are continuing to work through evidence.

No arrests have been made. The investigation remains ongoing.
