Stop! Stop? Aw, c’mon, please stop…

Despite a stop-work order having been issued at 120 St. Mark’s Pl. by the Department of Buildings, construction workers were recently seen sneaking inside to do work, climbing up a ladder onto a scaffolding and then pulling the ladder up behind them. A former artists’ squat, the building is being renovated and expanded by Ben Shaoul of Magnum Management. However, the renovation plans recently failed an audit by D.O.B., leading to the stop-work order.
