On Tuesday afternoon around 3:15 p.m., three or four local schoolgirls got into a fight near the subway station at Spring St. and Sixth Ave., and one of them scratched a police officer deeply under his eye when he responded to the scene. A call was put out for reinforcements and police flooded the scene, taking the girls away in handcuffs, including the girl above. The injured officer walked off while dabbing the cut beneath his eye with a tissue.
