Police are still looking for two thieves who used stolen credit cards to purchase almost $8,500 worth of Louis Vuitton and Gucci goods in October.

It all started during 4-train rush hour. On Oct. 21, a 29-year-old woman was riding the 4 train to Bowling Green at 5:30 p.m. when she felt her bag jostled, police say. When she got out, she realized her purse was open and her credit cards were gone.

Less than three hours later, two women used the victim’s credit card to buy $6,080.67 worth of Louis Vuitton at Macy’s. They also bought a Gucci handbag valued at $2,395.25, according to the report.

Police have released surveillance photos in the hope that the public can help identify and find the suspects.
