Construction workers watched the last batch of concrete (top left) as it was lifted to the roof of 10 Hudson Yards on Wed., Oct. 7, marking a milestone for Manhattan’s newest neighborhood. Located on the northwest corner of 10th Ave. & W. 30th St., the angular glass tower topped out at just under 900 feet — an occasion marked by the ceremonial hoisting of the concrete mixer and a barbecue for the hundreds of workers involved in constructing 10 Hudson Yards, which will open to commercial tenants including Coach Inc. and L’Oreal USA next spring.
