Unbelievable photos from the NYC storm on July 2, 2014

Hurricane Arthur wasn’t anywhere New York on July 2 — but that didn’t mean the city didn’t get hit by a wallop of a storm.

The storm descended during the evening commute, and caused flash flooding, lightning strikes (even on the East River!) and a partial wall collapse of a facade of the Brooklyn Bridge. Here are some images from the storm.
