“The Discovery of King Tut” makes use of more than 1,000 reproductions of the treasures discovered in Tutankhamun’s Tomb — one of the 20th century’s greatest archeological finds — to capture the excitement experienced by Howard Carter, Lord Carnarvon, and only a handful of others in 1922 and 1923 near the ancient city of Thebes (now Luxor).
