Union Sq., from past to present

At the Union Sq. Coalition’s Annual Meeting on Wed., Oct. 20, Dr. Eugene Weise will show a special slide presentation, “A View of the Square,” sharing his unique historical view and extensive collection of period photos. Following will be a talk by Daniel Walkowitz, an N.Y.U. labor historian, discussing labor an political movements’ ties to Union Sq. The meeting will conclude with an open discussion about issues in Union Sq. today. The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m., SGI building, 7 E. 15th St., between Union Sq.
