Want to chill immigration

Last Tuesday afternoon about 20 members and supporters of New Yorkers for Immigration Control and Enforcement, aka NY ICE, held a noisy protest in front of the office of the National Council of La Raza on Park Ave. S. and 22nd St. A NY ICE press release called La Raza “the near-infamous illegal alien supporter.” Founded in 1968 and headquartered in Washington, D.C., the nonprofit La Raza is the nation’s largest Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization.
