Whatever floats your boat: A Soho Fourth of July

On Independence Day in Soho Square, at Sixth Ave. and Spring St., locals grilled up holiday fare, flew Old Glory and threw in a canoe for that special touch. The square is due for a major renovation, spearheaded by the Hudson Square Connection business improvement district.
