Police are looking for the group of suspects behind four separate robberies over four days last month.
According to the investigation, the first incident came on Jan. 25, when a 34-year-old and a 16-year-old were approached by four gun-wielding perps at a store near 1168 Burnett Place in the Bronx. The suspects then took property from both victims, along with $400 worth of store merchandise, before fleeing in a dark-colored vehicle at around 11 p.m.
The second robbery came on Jan. 28, when two suspects approached a 41-year-old man near 609 West 51 St. in Manhattan and brandished a firearm, before rummaging through his pockets and stealing his property. Police suspect the two suspects had been involved in the Jan. 25 robbery, and they also fled in a black Hyundai Sonata at around 3:20 a.m.
The next day, three perps approached a 29-year-old man near 10 Avenue and West 206 Street and displayed a gun, before pushing the victim to the ground and grabbing his belongings. The three suspects then fled the location in a gray Honda Accord at around 4:20 a.m, according to police.
The last incident came just hours later at 7:20 a.m, when three perps hopped out of a Honda Accord near 1776 Eastchester Road in the Bronx and pointed a gun at three victims. The suspects then stole approximately $115,500 worth of their property, before hitting one of the victims in the face with the firearm.
Police believe all four robberies were connected, and no arrests have yet been made. The investigation remains ongoing.
So far this year, there have been 1,625 robberies recorded on the streets of the five boroughs, which marks a 9% increase from the 1,491 thefts during the same timespan last year, according to police data.
