Police are investigating the death of a man who was found shot in the chest in Brooklyn on Tuesday evening.
Authorities say that at 6:10 p.m. on Feb. 11, the NYPD responded to a 911 call regarding a man shot on Ralph Avenue near East 76th Street. Upon their arrival, officers found a 22-year-old man in front of a residence with a gunshot wound to his chest.
EMS rushed the victim, whose identity is being withheld pending family notification, to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
