Crooks steal e-bike during early-morning robbery in Manhattan: cops

Cops are looking for a pair of crooks who swiped a man’s e-bike in Manhattan last week.

According to police, at 1:30 a.m. on April 1, a 47-year-old man was leaving work and unlocked his e-bike, which was on the corner of East 4th Street and 1st Avenue, when he was approached by two unknown individuals. The suspects knocked the victim to the ground, punched him in the face and body and then took his e-bike. 

The first suspect fled northbound on 1st Avenue on the victim’s e-bike while the second suspect ran westbound on 4th Street.  The victim suffered minor injuries as a result and refused medical attention at the scene.
