The NYPD is looking for a suspect who assaulted an 86-year-old woman at a Lenox Hill supermarket.
It was reported to police that at 1:25 p.m. on March 23, the victim was inside Morton Williams Supermarkets, located at 1066 3rd Ave., when she was approached by an unknown man. The suspect pushed her from behind, causing her to fall to the ground.
The suspect then fled the scene on foot, heading southbound on 3rd Avenue.
The victim suffered injuries to her left eye and back, and broke multiple teeth as a result of the fall. The victim was taken by paramedics to New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in stable condition.

The suspect is described by police as a man with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a gray and burgundy jacket, a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and gray shoes.
