Two people injured in early morning hit-and-run in Harlem: cops

Cops are looking for a driver who fled the scene after colliding with another car and injuries two people in Harlem early Monday morning.

According to police, at around 12:30 a.m. on Feb. 17, a 47-year-old man was driving a Toyota Camry with a 62-year-old woman in the back seat. As they drove through the intersection of E 129th Street and Park Avenue, the car was hit by a late model black Acura sedan.

Following the collision, the driver, described as male, fled the scene on foot. Police were not able to provide further description of the man.

EMS took both the victims to an area hospital. The male victim is in stable condition, but the female victim is in serious but stable condition.

No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
