The NFL schedule is spread out across four days this holiday weekend with several intriguing matchups on the Week 13 calendar. Three games will be played tomorrow as Americans celebrate friends, food, and football. Black Friday brings an afternoon special in Philadelphia, before a 13-game window closes out the week with the New York Giants on Monday Night Football.

If you are making picks for a survivor pool (or elimination challenge), here are three games over the next handful of days to keep an eye on. With three wins in Week 12, my record jumps to 25 wins and 11 losses in this series during the 2025 campaign.

Kansas City Chiefs (at Dallas Cowboys)

Kansas City survived a difficult overtime test against the Indianapolis Colts to keep their postseason dreams alive for at least a few more weeks. Patrick Mahomes gets better as the year gets later with a 26-6 record in the final month of the calendar year. The Chiefs star QB heating up as the weather gets colder spells trouble for the rest of the NFL. Kansas City will step up with a win as Andy Reid puts on a show for America on Thanksgiving Day.

Dallas enters the matchup after scoring a massive 24-point comeback over the Philadelphia Eagles last weekend. If the combo of Dak Prescott and George Pickens can secure another 140+ yard afternoon through the air, the Cowboys might be able to stay competitive against a Chiefs teams that always seems to win big games in primetime.

Kansas City is a significant favorite 64% chance of a road victory according to ESPN Analytics.

Philadelphia Eagles (vs. Chicago Bears)

The Eagles don’t often lose at home with a 12-2 record at Lincoln Financial Field since the start of the 2024 season. Despite an 8-3 record, the Eagles offense hasn’t looked right all season long, but Jalen Hurts could find some room against the 27th-ranked defensive unit in the NFL. The Bears defense allows an average of 362 yards per game, and that type of yardage is typically far too much to allow against the defending Super Bowl Champions.

Chicago enters on a four-game win streak, all one-possession wins over Cincinnati, the New York Giants, Minnesota, and Pittsburgh. Despite a porous defense, Caleb Williams has created opportunities to allow his team to win this season. The 24-year-old will need to do it with the entire world watching on Black Friday before the Bears get set for a massive divisional battle against the Green Bay Packers in Week 14.

Philadelphia is a heavy favorite with a 68% chance of victory according to ESPN Analytics.

New England Patriots (vs. New York Giants)

The Patriots are looking to secure a 10th consecutive win for the first time since 2015 when they host New York on  Monday Night Football. Drake Maye leads the NFL with 3,130 passing yards this season against a Giants passing defense that ranks 23rd in the league by allowing an average of 227.8 yards per game.

Jaxson Dart is expected to return from a concussion for New York. That changes the equation on offense, but not enough for New York to pull off the road upset on national television. With the Giants being the only team eliminated from postseason contention thus far, the focus has to shift to using the remaining games on the 2025 schedule to prepare for the 2026 NFL campaign.

New England is a favorite at a 56% chance to win the home matchup according to ESPN Analytics.
