Three more games remain in the New York Giants season, including two more matchups at MetLife Stadium in Northern New Jersey. Big Blue has earned their only two wins this season on home turf, but New York enters the contest embroiled in an eight-game losing skid dating back to early October.
The Minnesota Vikings had Super Bowl dreams that evaporated before the over-stuffed Thanksgiving turkey was even put into the oven at the end of November. Still, the Vikings have an opportunity to finish the season strong with a win over New York before playing spoiler against the Detroit Lions (Week 17) and the Green Bay Packers (Week 18) as those squads duke it out (alongside of the Chicago Bears) for the top spot in the NFC North.
Week 16: Minnesota Vikings (6-8) @ New York Giants (2-12)
Kick Off: 1:00 p.m. ET (Sun., 12/21/25)
Location: MetLife Stadium (East Rutherford, New Jersey)
Despite a less than stellar record, the Vikings have navigated the choppy waters of the 2025 NFL season with records that match their real-world 6-8 record. Minnesota owns the same mark against the spread and the moneyline, while holding a positive record (8-6) against the over-under this season. New York also has a winning record against the over-under at 9-5 in 2025. The Giants record against the spread is 6-8, but the mark against the moneyline is downright abysmal (2-12).

Best bet: Jaxson Dart 50+ rushing yards
Jaxson Dart has showcased a viable rushing element with six games with 50+ yards rushing in 11 starts in his first look at NFL defenses. In last weekend’s loss to Washington, the Ole Miss-product dashed for 63 yards on nine carries, bringing his season total to 400 yards and seven touchdowns on the season.

Minnesota will attempt to slow down the dynamic 22-year-old rookie with a 24th-ranked rushing defense that is allowing 127.6 yards per game this season. The Vikings are dealing with injuries on the defensive side of the football, including run-stopper Javon Hargrave. Those injuries haven’t slowed down a defense that shut out Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 14.

It’s not going to be easy for the Giants to deny the Vikings their first winning streak of the 2025 campaign. Dart has showcased the ability to beat NFL defenses with his arm and his feet during his rookie season. If New York is going to pull off another stunner this season, it all starts behind the legs (and arm) of their sensational first-year signal caller.
