Each year during the winter, the MTA runs special vintage subway trains that evoke nostalgia and the holiday season. Some of these old-time rides include ceiling fans, roll signs for passenger information and incandescent light bulbs. Eight cars from the 1930s are running Sundays in December this year on the Sixth Avenue line. Here’s a look back at some holiday train rides going back to 2013.
