The Bronx Brewery opened its new taproom featuring Bastard Burgers in the heart of East Village.

The Bronx Brewery’s mission has been to use alcohol to bridge something greater. With this new location at 64 Second Avenue in the East Village, the team is looking forward to cultivating its core principles with this Downtown neighborhood.

The focal point of the new space is the pilot brewery system, a fully-functional brewery in the center of the area that will expand their popular Y-Series. The Y-Series, formerly known as ‘up and comers,’ are often experimental beers in collaboration with creatives ranging from musicians to artists and more. The series will be a time to celebrate and support the city’s diversity.

An award-winning Luleå, Sweden-based burger company, Bastard Burgers, will serve the food at this new location. Initially, the Bronx team was hooked by the burgers and appreciated Bastard Burgers’ development-focused internal culture and love for street art and hip hop.

The menu will be available for local delivery via Seamless, GrubHub and DoorDash within the first weeks following the new launch.
