One Man Army NYC is hosting a one-of-a-kind screening of genre-bending shorts.
Entitled “WE HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY: Strange Future. Stranger Films,” the screening will feature short films at the intersection of science fiction, satire, and the uncanny. The event will take place at the Triad Theater, located at 158 W 72nd St., on June 3.
This screening comes after One Man Army’s recent string of sold-out shows in Dimes Square’s alt-venue scene. The team behind One Man Army says that the event is “perfect for genre lovers, tech skeptics, indie film fans, and anyone who’s ever asked, ‘Wait… did my phone just hear that?’”
Doors open at 7:30 p.m., with the screening beginning at 8 p.m. There is a two-drink minimum for the venue.
