Kathy Griffin tour: Donald Trump, Kardashians sure to be subjects

Kathy Griffin is constantly improvising. Her comedic style finds her riffing on current events, from politics to pop culture. And there's so much happening these days, she finds that jokes sometimes come together on stage or just before she takes it.

What can fans expect at her Brooklyn and Queens shows in April? New material and lots of on-the-spot improv.

"Everything is exploding," Griffin said in an interview. From Donald Trump to the Kardashians, she said, there's so much for comedians to take aim at.

Griffin's #Likeabosstour brings her to the Kupferberg Center in Queens on April 9 and the Brooklyn Center for Performing Arts on April 10.

Here's what we learned about the two-time Emmy and Grammy award-winning comedian who's also in the Guinness Book of World Records for writing and starring in 20 stand-up television specials.

"She had to compromise and go through a lot of s--- to get to be where she is. To be the best candidate in history... [She was] a first lady who tried to do something other than make people say no to drugs."

Griffin also said she was "sick and tired" of people saying Hillary fans aren't excited about her candidacy.

"I'm f---ing excited!" she said.
