Personal trainer and reality-TV star Jillian Michaels has become engaged to her longtime partner Heidi Rhoades.
In a nearly five-minute video posted at E! Online, Michaels, 42, and Rhoades sit in a screening room with friends and family. After a montage of their lives together, including images of their young daughter Lukensia and son Phoenix, a sequence begins with of people holding one word each of the phrase “Will – you – marry – me.” Then as the audience cheers, Michaels gets on bended knee to propose.
“Heidi is the perfect person for me,” Michaels says to the camera afterward, “Heidi is the nucleus of family. She’s the glue that really holds everything together and I think without that, I would be lost.”
